Professional Event Photography for Your Corporate or Personal Event

Whether it's a brand activation, fireside chat, or a personal milestone celebration, I love capturing every event's experience so you can focus on enjoying it. I know the work that goes into event organizing. All that coordination and communication—it can be overwhelming!

Hiring an event photographer like me takes that load off your plate.

My style: Documentary & Photojournalistic

I use a documentary, photojournalistic approach to all of my event photography services. I'll roam around the event, capturing candids and event details. Because it can feel invasive, I don't use a flash. An exception can be made for lighting a few group shots.

For every event session, I will discuss with you what your usage needs are and tailor the final gallery to those needs.

If your event doesn't quite fit into any of the below, but you think I would be a good fit, please fill out the inquiry form for custom pricing. For standard events, I have transparent pricing.

  • Storage: A safe and secure place to store my bag and equipment.
  • Venue approval: Venue has approved having a photographer at the event (especially important for personal celebrations that take place in non-private rooms).
  • Photo waivers or releases: Attendees know that a photographer will be at the event. This is usually done when people purchase a ticket for the event or through on-site signage.
  • Meals: A 30-min meal break for any event over 6 hours. A per diem rate will be used for the meal if a vendor meal is unavailable.

"Our nonprofit client needed a Bay Area event photographer for a multi-day conference with 140 attendees. The goal was to capture candid, documentary-style photos that could be used for marketing and fundraising purposes.

When I found Jenn, I immediately appreciated her detailed and transparent approach to her services and deliverables. After a planning call, she quickly provided a custom quote based on our client's needs. Her booking process, timeline, and pricing were clear.

After booking, Jenn provided a comprehensive shot list worksheet for us to complete, so that she was fully prepared for the event. Three business days after the event, we received a fully edited gallery of hundreds of photos that captured our speakers and moments of connection and learning our client had envisioned.

Jenn was responsive and thorough at all stages of our collaboration. Our event planning team will absolutely recommend Jenn to our Bay Area clients!"

We just got our photo gallery and we are blown away by the beautiful colors and details that Jenn captured. We will definitely be working with her again, at our next Bay Area event!

"Jenn was an absolute delight to work with! I requested her services on an event pretty last minute (2-3 days beforehand), and she was quick to respond and start the booking process. The process was super thorough, which I appreciated as it was my first time booking a photographer.

She did a great job blending seamlessly into the event, making everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. The photos really captured the vibe and essence of the event, and l'm so grateful she was there!"

Event Photography Timeline

1. Inquiry & Booking

Fill out the photo inquiry form. Include details, such as location, event type, and what you're looking for in photos. I'll review,  confirm the date, and send a booking link.

One link: Fill out the proposal with the event's basic details, sign the contract, and pay 50% of the invoice to secure the booking. Press events & rush editing require 100% upfront.

2. shot list questionnaire

At least one week prior to the event, fill out the shot list form so I know what photos to take at the event. For more complicated events, we may have a call to discuss it.

3. Event date

I arrive and take the photos we agreed on in the shot list. You relax and enjoy the event. Within three hours of the event ending, I'll send a handful of unedited photos that you can use to immediately recap the event on social media!

At any point before gallery delivery, pay the remaining invoice. This payment must be made in full before you can receive your photos.

4. 🌟 Photo delivery day!

Unless you requested rush editing, corporate clients will receive photos in a beautiful online gallery within three business days. I work fast!

You also sign off on the project being completed, and I'll ask for feedback. And that's it, we're done!

FAQ

Do you have an attendee limit?

For candid-only events, 50-250 people is great. Some good examples include your fur child's birthday party, a company meeting or dinner, a panel, or a talk.

What are your venue constraints?

I'm able to shoot in daytime outdoor areas or well-lit indoor spaces. I don't shoot events with dark restaurants or dark bars. A good rule of thumb is that if guests can see what they're eating, I can shoot it.

How many photos do I receive?

I average about 30-40 delivered photos per hour of candid photography. I don't have a guarantee on minimum photo delivery. This number is not exact (i.e. the first hour may produce 20 good photos while the second produces 40). The number of photos will depend heavily on the shots you want and what the event is like.

Do you have a minimum duration?

Yes, there is a minimum of one hour for personal events and two hours for corporate events. The exceptions to this rule are trade show booth photography (if I'm attending the event already and shooting multiple booths, we can discuss your coverage needs) and press events (1 hour).

Can I get my photos back faster?

Yes! I offer overnight (10 am), next business day (5 pm), and one business day rush editing. Please let me know in the inquiry form.

What if my event doesn't fit your description, but I still want to book you?

I'm happy to discuss custom pricing, packages, and other unique event details. Just fill out the photo request form and note that you're interested in custom pricing. Please review my published pricing for a rough estimate.

Some examples of this include: corporate off-site adventures, multi-day immersive workshops, and yoga retreats.
